I thought about that, actually. The way it happened that we are getting our chihuahua is that my aunt ( a breeder of chihuahuas) was planning on having a littler with one of her females. Well, my mom relayed messages through my aunt and I and voila! Chi for me! I think my obsession with scruffy and fluffy dogs came when my parents adopted a Yorkie for me. I almost said mixed, too, but I thought about it and realized that I've always had a mixed breed. In fact, right next to Treasure, she was my first purebred. Funny enough, she came from a breeder who was the mother of my uncles best friend. She was five when we got her. She will be eight this year.
