I once turned down someone who wanted to adopt a Persian kitten I'd fostered because she used the phrase "if you want to get rid of him". It makes my hackles rise every time. How can this woman list all the reasons her Persian is a wonderful cat and then consider turfing her outside?! She really shouldn't have pets.
