Debby, you will have sooo much fun! We've gone to two of the Memorial Day Bashes - and we don't even have a dog! It's sooo fun meeting everyone, and watching the dogs have a blast. The food is always good and it's just so fun putting faces with names & dogs.

We missed last year, and it looks like we'll have to miss this year too.....drat!

Awww, too bad you'll miss it! Not like we have to go all the way to Ohio to meet considering we probably work blocks from each other.

Answer depends on how you define "close"!

Perrysburg is 43 miles (about 52 driving minutes) due NORTH of the Dog Park at Findlay.

Perrysburg is just South of the Ohio Turnpike and sits between I-75 and I-475.
It's pretty easy to get form Perrysburg onto I-75 and zip south to the Dog Park -
just allow an Hour to drive it.

    You can use
    http://www.Mapquest.com
to research motel locations and the routing to the Dog Park ...
OR - Go back a few posts and use the *LINK* I posted to MapQuest -
all you need to enter is a "Starting Address" - can be your home or a Motel.

No, we're going to be at the Econo Lodge. (Big spenders, I know.)

On the first post of this thread, Phred outlined what we'll need to get our pups in the park. Later on in the thread, I believe he attached the applications as well. I can't wait to meet everyone.

BTW, I just got confirmation from the hubby. WE'LL BE THERE!!!

My dad said I can come but I'm still trying to find out where I'm going to stay. He wants to drop me off in OH and drive to MI. Don't know if I'll be coming or not.

The fenced doggie area of the park is so big Nanook could easily stay away from the doggers being rowdy. There's even a "time out" cage, too, or he could hang out up at the pavillion with the people, too. Of course it will depend on how he's feeling at the time, we understand that.

I switched my shifts that weekend - so I'll be getting off at 11am (starting at 11pm the nite before) so I may go and sleep for a few hours and then come - try to be there around 3-4 and will prolly stay later.

Sue- Coldwater isn't too far away from Anna - you might be able to follow her up or work something out.
