Oooooh! Be very careful about the refrigerator - I know you probably are ultra-alert already. When my sweet Myrtille was only a tiny infant, she climbed into our standing freezer and we didn't realize it. Thank heavens we didn't go far from the door of the freezer before she realized her mistake and started crying to be let out. It wouldn't have been long before it would have been too late for her! I still shudder to think about that. The other thing she did at about the same age was to peer over the edge of the toilet as my husb. was standing there creating a fascinating golden stream - ahem. After a second or two of watching, Myrtille astonished him by launching herself at the stream and into the toilet, getting herself a dubious beauty bath. That was the first and last time she did that. She had to have a real bath afterward, of course. Oh - one more thing, since I am remembering her adventures. Once when I had bathed her, I decided to see if she might not enjoy being dry and warm right away instead of having to walk around shivery cold until she dried off - so I aimed my small blow-drier at her. She freaked out, and every time she saw the drier after that, she would stand as far back as she could at smack at it with one paw. We called it "The Enemy." She was really funny about it - because she couldn't just leave it alone, she had to try to do battle with it, even though it was just sitting there. Your kitty is very pretty. I am glad you are having such joy and pleasure, and I know you will watch out for all the potentially dangerous adventures.
