    Some type of dove? I hope you can get a good pic so we can try to figure it out.

    Well... Maltese_Love was over my house and saw it.. and said it was some type of dove (I don't remember what kind ) But I'll try and get pictures.

    Maybe a mourning dove? Lovely soft colors, dun and grey and rosy subtle colors, with dark eyes?

    There are several different kinds of doves. The most common wild doves around here are mourning doves, white winged doves, and ringneck doves.

    I have a white winged dove named Flutters. You can see the white that lines the bottom of his wing.


    Mourning doves are the most common doves around here. They're a little smaller than white winged doves and they have black spots on their backs.

    Ringneck doves are a bigger dove and lighter in color. They also have a black half ring around the back of their necks.

    Well I'm pretty positive the dove in my tree is the mouring dove. I'll get pictures When the baby birds hatch I'll try and get some pics too... cuz I can see the dove as her nest right from my dining room window.
