The "Arabian Sighthound/Greyhound" is also known by the more common name Sloughi. I am told by Sloughi fanciers that you pronounce it: slew-gee ("g" as in gorilla). If you say it quick enough, Sloughi begins to sound like Saluki which contributes to a whole 'nother controversy LOL. The Azawakh is an African sighthound, I do believe. I don't know one personally, but the lady who makes Giselle's collar donated a martingale to an Azawakh specialty dog show, and I'm told the dog who won was SO noble and gentle.
