Poor Simba!!! As I read this post, I was going to say to get the stinger out. But you did!!! I hope he feels better soon. Maybe you can put some hydrocortizone on the sting area. That might help it heal and get rid of some of the pain.

Aw poor Simba! The last time Sydney was stung and her face swoll up huge we tried benydryl and it didn't do anything....neither did the <expensive> emergency vet shot. The only thing that helped was a prednisone (sp?) pill. I think you have to get that from the vet though. Feel better soon Simba!

Was Simba bitten in the top of his paw, or the bottom? We don't get them till summer here, but they scare me. Smokey & Maggie try to snatch them
out of the air with their teeth.
