I had been wondering what type of work you did on the river, sounds like a great job.

    Have a safe trip!

is it that time again? My dad drives a big ship and it gets annoying not seeing him too often, Im trying to convince him to take me out to sea with him and do correspondence for school work.

I hope your cats are happy cats and their wave you goodbye!

I love my precious kittens and I hope they have long and happy lives filled with love.

Cats and dogs arent pets, theyre family members that need the same respect as humans. Would you dump your children out in the countryside to fend for themselves??

Gee, thanks Phred, I didn't think of posting that picture of my gally and all the stats on the boat.

Yes, my babies went to Kevlin's Sunday and Chester went to Rie's yesterday. That is the hardest... Having to leave my babies. That is the part of my job that I just hate and it gets harder and harder to leave them. I can't wait to get back home to get them back!

I set the trap again last night with some real stinky can cat food in hopes of catching Bridgette. I will check it later when it is lighter outside. I hate to leave knowing she is out there all alone wandering around. Poor girl.

Good luck in catching her. That's bad timing having to go away just now, isn't it? She couldn't have turned up just as you came back, could she? No, that would have been too easy!

Hope the trip goes well and seems just as quick as your time off!

Have a safe trip Laura! We'll miss you.

It looks like a really nice boat. I once worked on a passenger ship, but it was only 3 days and then 3 days off.

    Good luck in catching Bridget.

Killearn Kitties.... I think she has been here the whole time I have been off and I only caught sight of her day before yesterday. Samantha has been at the front door the whole time she was home, crying like she wanted out and climbing the screen door... something she has NEVER done. She has not ever shown any signs of wanting to going back outside and it had me puzzeled as to why she was acting like that. I just HATE that I only just saw her and put it all together.. Now I will worry about that pretty girl the whole time I am gone and wonder if she has had kittens and where they are.

I walked around the park the other day and asked everyone I saw if they had seen a pretty long haired cat and she has been spotted, always at night. Me catching that glimsp of her the other day was the first daylight spotting of her and I know she was here because she knew her Mama was here and had been coming by every day! I am beating myself up because I never got up to see what Samantha was seeing that made her want out!

My Captain just called, he is on his way and will be here in about a hour. So this is GOOD BYE friends for a whole 28 days!
