We have one mixed breed, Mandy, and three purebred Labs, Nova, Luka, and Buck. Nova and Luka are poorly bred, BYB dogs, but we adopted Luka from the humane society. Buck is from a reputable breeder. We like rescuing rather than buying from a breeder but the situation with Buck's breeder was just too perfect (she lived down the street and I was very involved in the litter).
I'd love to own more mixed breeds in the future, especially Shepherd and/or Chow mixes, because they are just the cutest mixes out there. This won't happen until I move into my own home though because my parents say all we can have from now on is purebred Labs, because they are perfect for us (true, but I still want other breeds).
