Gosh, good news and bad here.

Val, I do hope that your Mom will be alright and that will free up your
travel plans. Oregon is right above California you know................but that is easy for me to say.

Slick - YOOHOO!!!! Let the fun begin!!

I have some good news and some bad news. I guess I'll start with the good news first.

I might be going to London this summer! Alexa will be there for a few weeks this summer at a University and she is now looking into buying me a ticket out there to visit her when her program ends. I've never been to London before, actually I haven't been to Europe so I'm very excited and hope that everything works out.

The bad news is that if I go to London I won't be able to make the meeting because I just won't be able to afford it. However there will always be next year!

I'll update as soon as I know for sure. Right now she's looking at ticket prices and I need to start digging around the house in search of my passport!
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

Now that is THE BEST excuse for not attending the BBQ I could imagine.

How exciting for you both to have this opportunity and I say GO FOR IT.

You will be missed for sure - but when the excuse is for travel that will only broaden your horizon - I can't argue with that for one minute.

Hmmmmm, London or Cali. London or Cali. It's a no-brainer Laura. Have a great time......we will miss you.

How exciting - but we will miss you. It was so fun to meet you last year.

This may be a little off-topic, but this morning, when I was getting ready for work, I was getting a little dollop of mousse for my hair - and I noticed that if I work at it just right - I can make the dollop look like a peep.

    commit me now.

Oh my, so now I have to have cans of mousse available for the BBQ so we can have a PEEP making contest.

See Laura and Alexis - what you will miss? I bet they haven't thought of this in London!!

I just found out my friend is getting married on that day so it's not possible for me either. I'm not sure if I'd be able to go anyway. Have fun guys!

Last night we booked my ticket to London! So no peep making contest for me . However it looks like I might have my own mini London PT meeting. Karen (Killearn Kitties) plans to come out and go to the London Aquarium with us. Alexa laughed that I gave up one PT meeting only to have another!

However this gives me a long time to practice for next years peep making contest!

instead of moose - maybe we should try for redi-whip on top of Slick's baileys. Then we could have our peeps and eat/drink them too.

We could have a peeps cooking contest on Sunday. You are allowed exactly 30 min in Gini's kitchen to create your masterpiece. Just think of it....Peeps Banana Split, Peeps Creme Brule (watch the blowtorch please..), Pineapple and Peeps Pizza (say that 3 times fast after a few slushies!!).....there is no limit to what your imagination can come up with.

Only rule is no microwaving.....we saw what happens to a "nuked" peep last year. RIP little peep.

Alternatively, if you can't cook, then use your 30 min. to come up with a Peep Costume. You could give us a Peep Show. Yeah, I know, I've worn out that joke a million times... The costume doesn't have to be for you...you can pair up and make one for someone else. The possibilities are endless!!!

So put your little Peep heads together and see what you can dream up.

I think instead of the firetruck the Peepmobile should be the main attraction at the BBQ.
