    I am so sorry. Raising chicks can be fun, but heartbreaking sometimes.

    thanks everyone.
    i was thinking of getting another chick. the place close to me doesn't have the silkies though. they have rhode island reds. i'm doing some research on the rhode island reds. if i like them i might get one to join my flock.

    Why don´t you just raise the ones you have until adulthood, then consider buying another chick.
