Wow! He's gorgeous!!
I'm no expert by any means, but I wonder if he has some chow in him? His face reminded me a LOT of Huney's, and could also be why he is so dark.

He pretty much looks full blooded akita to me. Akitas come in all colors. So he has the coloring of an akita also.
I will probably check in again tomorrow to see how he is. Let pray that his owner has already claimed him.

He looks so much like my neighbors daughters Akita! Her Akita is dark he is really beautiful. I hope his owners claim him. Poor boy.
