    And popcornbird, sorry you feel that way. But I think it's a nice thing and although I have gone through a few special post numbers without anyone saying congrats, I still think it's a good idea and I don't get upset. I remember how happy I got when people said happy 100 posts to me, and imagine that the people I say congrats to will get just as happy

    Popcornbird, did you not celebrate your 11th birthday because you'd celebrated the ten before? Will not your next birthday be just as fun? We celebrate each other here, do not mean to slight anyone by NOT celebrating - did you know there are more than 4000 members on Pet Talk? it's hard to keep track of everyone's posts - and we enjoy each others' posts and company.

    Let's have fun, and celebrate what we can to offset the sadness we sometimes see in the world!

    Well, I think it's nice to celebrate and get celebrated, but I can see Popcornbird's point of view. Sometimes you just don't have time to keep track of who has posted how many, so you miss out of some. I personally was very happy about my 100 thread, because it was so unexpected and new to me! I intend to try and remember the big ones (which for me is: 100, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 a.s.o. and hope no one will be offended. But I may post out of this order anyway!

    Ps. Thanks to Niina for keeping track of all these members!

    Congrats on your 200, Gepansy!! Keep them coming!

    I can understand you're viewpoint. I think people at PT like to encourage and celebrate others, even if they're just "small" milestones. I'm very sorry we missed your 200th post celebration, we don't intentionally miss anyone! Please accept my belated CONGRATS on your 200th post!
