BRODIE is HOME -> (AGAIN) Still Needs Your Prayers!

Has your vet mentioned or considered IBD? It's very common in cats and does cause chronic vomiting. I've mentioned this before but I don't know if you looked into it more, it's usually treated with prednisone to control vomiting.

I did discuss the possibilities of IBD with my vet and she said that she's not convinced that it is IBD. I think that the only way to tell is to do a biopsy of his intestines - there's no real "test" for IBD.


I just gave Brodie another Tablespoon or so of wet food . . . let's see if he can keep it down . . .

edit: YAY! Another meal stayed down! Fingers crossed that this will be a day FREE of vomit!!! If that happens, I don't even remember how long it's been since he's gone a whole day (besides when he was at the vet) . . . looking back at the calender - I have been marking down ever time he vomits . . . the last day we went *vomit free* was on March 5th! Wow! It's about time - I'll bet his poor little tummy is sore!
