I'm glad things are going better, butat the rest of the report. Something defnitely has to be wrong if he weighed 13.5 lbs one day and 9 the very next.

Well his regular vet finally called me back. She concurred that there's probably something awry with their scale or how he was weighed - perhaps his paw was off or something. I know I can tell that he weighs more than Mitzi and she's a tubbette at 11 lbs.
The vet said she would recommend ultra-sounding him again before considering surgery to see if the stone had grown at all from the last time they spotted it on ultrasound. From what they saw last time, the stone was way too small to consider surgery as they didn't want to open him up and have to poke around for something that they may not find. As all his blood and urine tests came back normal they have nothing to go on as to what this stone is made up of - there are no crystals or anything like that to give a clue as to what we're dealing with. I can't afford an ultrasound right now; I will check with IMOM to see if they might be able to help out.
I will continue with the Amoxycillin and pain meds as needed. He will be rechecked in about three weeks.
Please keep us posted.. This is so distressful on you and him.. Poor baby!

RedHedd, please forgive me for not responding to this sooner. Work has been busy. I'm so sorry to hear about Mishi and I can only imagine how worried you must be. Poor little guy. Please give him some scritchies from me and big {{{hugs}}} to you. Hang in there because there's lots and lots or prayers coming your way.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I've been defrosted-- Thanks, Sana
He's doing better tonight. Peeing almost normally, eating a WHOLE LOT, drinking and his tail is starting to perk up a bit. I've NEVER seen that boy's tail down the way it has been. It's so unusual. He's really good about taking his meds and gave me head-bumpies while I was having dinner. Thanks everyone for your prayers and good thoughts. They are working.
I am glad Mishi is doing better today. I can't believe the thing with the scale. 4 lb is something you would have noticed when you pet him.
I always weigh my boys on the scales with me and then me without them (actually it's never me but my husband who is 145 lb - I prefer not to now how close I am to that). It is not absolutely precise but the differences over the years are never bigger than 0,5 lb.
All the best for Mishi. May he be around for long!
I think we're out of the woods this time FINALLY! The Big Boy's tail is waving at full-plume again; in fact this evening he's bounding around the apartment, chirping, meowing and pestering Mitzi :-) He still hasn't pooped (3 days), but I know the Amoxy tends to constipate him so I'm not too worried. He is eating, drinking and peeing normally and is out of pain.
I will take him by the vet's office to have him weighed this Saturday (they're half a block away from me), as I still don't beileve he's only 9 lbs. Thanks everyone for the positive thoughts and prayers.
