What proof did they have to back up their point? I have no doubts that austrnauts walked on the moon, that is why there is a US flag on the moon.

They have a lot of proof. Jess, I saw this video. I just don't know what to believe but I think I'm leaning more to the side they did go to the moon. Here's a link to the "Great Moon Hoax". http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2001/ast23feb_2.htm

Yes I totally believe it. I've seen the video claiming that it was all a hoax and I think it's a bunch of bunk, probably the same people who don't believe that the Holocaost really happened.......

They are teaching you in school that the whole moon thing is a myth? I would have serious reservations about that school.

Yes, it happened. I watched it on TV in 1969 - I was a little kid - 4 years old, but my two older siblings sat me down between them and said "Watch this. You're going to want to remember this, so pay attention." So I did (they NEVER made me watch anything on TV, and they were so serious about this) and I do remember.

I think many people doubt it because they have seen the flag moving in the video of the landing and there is meant to be no wind on the moon so people look for a conspiricy

Yes, it happened. I have two problems with conspiracy theories. The first is a quote from Benjamin Franklin. "It is entirely possible for three men to keep a secret, providing two of them are dead". The second problem I have with conspiracy theories is that it gives government too much credit. I've been working for the government for almost 20 years now, and I would be hard pressed to believe that the same government that can lose a 72 ton M1 Abrams tank can organize a conpiracy on that level. (Or any level, for that matter)

Hmmmm. First of all, there is * a lot* of evidence against it, and most of the people I know are not sure on the topic.

I however believe they went there.
They are teaching you in school that the whole moon thing is a myth? I would have serious reservations about that school.
I doubt they told her "They never went to the moon, its BS" they probably gave both opinions and both sides of the story. That would be the right thing to do as people do have a right to form their own opinions.
