    Scooter's Medication Info

For those of you wanting this info, Scooter's medication for incontinence is Phenylpropanolamine.HCL topical cream. I apply .05 to inner skin of ear flap twice daily. Hopefully this won't have to continue for life. I will keep you all posted on how it's working.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Boy wouldn't it be nice if we could apply all of their meds to their ears! I know it would sure help with my little wildman So Small! He turns into a ferocious beast when I try to medicate him! Even two of us can't do it!

I hope the med works good for little Scooter!!!

PPA? That used to be in human cold meds, but was implicated in some side effect or other. Hopefully it will help your kitty.

Lisa ~ IMOM has an ongoing case with Ramses who had a similar problem as Scooter. The last report I read, they are not having any leaking problem. Just thought I'd pass it along in case you wanted to get more information from them.

Diagnosis: Rameses has been treated for urethral blockage twice in the last month. He has a very narrow urethra and needs a perineal urethrostomy to prevent further blockage. YIKES! That had to hurt!

Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.
