Donna, I am a self-proclaimed John Denver lover. It all started in the 70's and even though he is gone, I still listen to his music. In 1980 (I think??) he performed at an outdoor venue in Prince George...about a 10 hr drive from me. I drove up there and secured my place on the grass 8 hours before the concert started. I managed to get a back stage pass and I shook his hand and got his autograph. Yes, I have washed my hand since
, but I still have his autograph. Might be worth something someday.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
