I have a gut feeling though that this owner is quite aware of the minimal care the woman is giving Nookie and I think the owner gave him minimum care also. Nookie's personality is that of an outside dog with little socialzation and training. There's a lot of subtle things in his personality that remind me of previous backyard dogs we've gotten in the shelter.
