Did you use a tripod?? Because those are amazingly clear considering they are take indoors with no flash and with a powershot. I've always had trouble taking clear pictures indoors with mine lol

Always have with taking them indoors, even with a lot of light. They always come out blurry. This one is the best I've taken, its not even clear, and it was taken with my SD500

(tad dark, I have another version where I brightened/sharpened it a little but I wanted to upload this one because it has EXIF data). I know that image was taken in poor light but its the best example I can find right now lol

If they so much as even move they come out blurry. and I have my shutter on the fastest setting

Ha! A lesson? The only lesson they will be taught is how to give you even more kisses than you are giving them

That's really weird because all I used on those was Auto - no ISO speeds or anything!

Hmmm, I think they are beyond instruction in the art of not being cute. Sorry-you'll just have to live with adorable dogs!

Just "auto" mode or the ISO on auto?

I can't stand using "auto" mode haha I have to fine-tune stuff to my liking!

Great shots! Maybe a tripod, Jessika... but likely just the result of a better camera. I know I was amazed at the difference between my Nikon 880 (4 megapixel) to my Canon Digital Rebel (8 megapixel). It's amazing how quickly digital cameras are evolving and improving. Nonetheless, great shots I agree!

Well that's a digital SLR, though, she's just using a point-and-shoot camera similar to what I use, even the same series (PowerShot) but mine is a much newer model so you'd think I would get at least the same, if not better, results, you know?

I want the Rebel though SO BAD! I want the 12MP one but I guess I will have to settle for the 8MP one instead haha I will be getting it in a few months though.

EDIT: Just experimented with taking pictures w/o flash on JUST the auto mode, and they actually turn out a LOT clearer than pictures taken without flash on manual mode. But I've just tested it by taking pictures on inanimate objects. i'll have to hunt Jamie down and test it out on a living thing...

But the shutter is noticably MUCH faster on auto than on manual. I wonder why that is?

Ooooh my goodness! There should be a cuteness warning on this thread! Your girls, (and of course Simba) are just beautiful, and so photogenic! Great pics, as always.

YOU can't stand it? When I see those beautiful sweet faces, I wanna jump into my computer and kiss the black off their noses! When they lay together, it's the most endearing thing I ever see!

How precious Kay , your girls are beautiful. I dont have too much trouble not using flash inside in lower light, i have used my tri pod and free hand aswell with not much difference.
