Updated 3/5 - Lab litter updates

Gimme the key for that house.. I'm taking all of the puppies! I don't know why, but all of a sudden I really want a Lab.

Yesterday I started noticing that Buck was getting aggressive. He was into everything, pulling on everyone's tail, growling, etc. I had a big decision to make, because when I picked him he was NOT like that. So I took home blue collar boy and red collar boy (original Buck) to decide which one was better suited for our family. Blue collar boy is a lot like Nova was with her siblings - stand offish, quiet, and submissive. I had a huge decision to make, and ultimately I decided to get blue collar boy instead. I am so incredibly attatched to the other guy, so this was hard, but it is the best thing for us. I think red collar boy is going to be a handful and he needs to go to a home where he will be the only dog, at least until he has a lot of manners.

So, without further adue, here is blue collar boy - our Buck!


He is a bit bigger than red collar boy. I think he'll be about 5 lbs bigger when they're fully grown.

I had dinner with Debra (breeder) tonight, and found out a lot of really neat things about both parents. One thing I found out was there was a yellow girl who was killed by being squished by Angel at 3 days old.

OMGosh they are all so darn cute......I would want to just bring them ALL home.....Buck is a handsome lil fella I have never seen a pic with the spots on the back of Mandy's ears.....HOW CUTE

Funny you mention that, because today we had four of them over at our house! Not my choice - Devin (breeder's son) kept bringing them over! Tomorrow Debra is bringing them all over to be bathed in our Booster Bathtub.

And Mandy's ears - I think they're the cutest thing ever!

Yeah.. and they're also just soooo beautiful when they grow up! Your two are definitely symbols of beautiful Labs.. gah. I want one so bad now! lol

I can only imagine how hard of a decision that was for you after getting so attached to the red collar boy.. but you'll get just as attached, maybed even more, to the blue collar boy!! I can't wait to see pictures as he grows.

Lol, funny that you want one. The breed is so special to me, it's indescribeable.

Buck is over here right now, he's been sleeping for quite a while. He's so different from red collar boy! I'm pretty happy with the switch
