My downfall is a doughnut! Any kind will do...............

I was driving home after dropping Slick off at the airport and I drove
right by a Krispie Kreme shop. It was so tempting to pull into that drive-through............but I was good.............and I am not proud of it either!

I must rather would have liked to have had a doughnut or two...........

Always reminds me of an old Dunkin' Donuts (I think) commercial. "Time to make the donuts, time to make the donuts..." as the guy stubbles around half asleep.

Donuts and a hot toddy by the fire after a good massage.....aaaahhhh...

Good thing I'm wrapped up here by the fire, because our heat at work finally decided to give up the ghost. It's been acting geeky since November. The boss has gotten quotes on replacing the furnace but that's as far as it's gotten. So there the quotes sit in his "in box" and here I sit in a 67 degree office - and dropping! The heat hasn't gone on since I got back from lunch. If not for my little heater under my desk - brrrrrr......<shivers as she takes another sip of hot toddy> Every now and then I have to sit on my "mouse hand" to warm it up.

Gini, Sorry about that, I started talking about hot fresh donuts an she woke up.

Can I get a Large hot anything? It's time to go out and shovel, and I'm going to need a little liquid refreshment when I'm done!

donuts must be the cure all for any thing that ails you . Shure got some of the sickies more alive.
I'm sure I'll have no pproblems this time . I know what those little gems do to my blood sugars and I really only want one a year, and thats an old fashion plain no glaze. I know how boring but rather have lots of boring than fewer sweet things.
What is so funny is he wanted to do it today but i had 2loaves of Pizza bread ,2 loaves of dark pumpernickel, and a strawberry pie all going at the time . I had to laugh and explain why tomorrow would be better. Kizmet maybe?
Thanks guys I know I'll feel your good vibes tommorrow. Gosh I just can't tell you how I want this job.

Sick here again, too. My doctor gave me extra pills last time and told me to take them the first sign of any sore throat/cough/stuffyness/etc. Took one today.. they make me dizzy as heck!

It's kinda warm here so I'll take a BIG glass of ice water, slice of lemon too?
