Daisy and Delilah I was browsing the internet in the classifieds looking for a female Pom puppy and instead stumbled upon a almost 2 year old male apricot Toy Poodle up for sale because the owner was moving to a place that didnt allow dogs... i was so happy!! he was a older dog so no house breaking and a puppy issues.. and plus he was an apricot! i coudlnt belive it.

i wasnt feeling to great and talked my parents into going to meet him for me. but i ended up going with them anyway.. went clear to another state(in Idaho) to get him. the very minute the lady opened the door he greeted us with woos and whines. LOL and i looked around and seen that there was no other dogs so this fuzball has to be it. as hes not what i consider an apricot. even my parents asked 'is 'that' the dog?' LOL

so if i hadnt gone with them.. they woudlnt have gotten him because they knew i wanted an apricot..

and when they start to feel like a brillow pad.. oh my gosh. that just drives me right up the wall!! LOL

and the longer the hair it is,, the faster it will 'brillow' on ya.

Thanks Vette for posting Kirby's story. What a great day that was when you met the little fella and away you went with him. It reminds me of getting Delilah. It was a similar situation. She didn't like me at all so I almost didn't get her but three days later she started warming up more. I could barely get her into the car she was so skittish. Thank goodness I went with my heart. She hasn't disappointed me a single time since that day. What a great little girl she is! Please give Kirby some more extra kisses from me
