I've checked this thread nearly everyday and have hoped for good news. Delta, come home already! You have everyone so worried!

    Thanks again, everyone.

Maltese--feel free to cross-post his description.

There was a possible Delta sighting today. I can't guarentee it was him as I saw nothing when I got there, but the man that called had one of our posters and was sure it was Delta. He said he looked confused and scared, but not injured. When he stopped his car, Delta ran off into the forest. I walked that area for a long time tonight, but didn't see him. I did see tracks.

I wish Stuart was home. He's a great tracker, but he couldn't miss his neurosurgeon app't. We've been waiting over a year for that consultation. I had to go back to work today--I was on holidays for all of February. My supervisor knows what is going on with Delta and she is ok with me racing out of the office if anyone calls.

I know that the dog seen tonight could have been a different black and white husky cross. They aren't exactly rare around here, but I am choosing to believe it was my boy. I'll be back out in that area tomorrow every chance I get. We had a call from that same area on the day we handed out the posters, so maybe he is lurking around there. It's a fairly safe area as far as predators go. It's too populated for the wolves to be around unless they are really hungry, which isn't the case this winter. Lots more of their natural prey around. It's close to a road, but it's a speed trap zone so most people travel slowly. There are several houses around, tons of dogs and even a couple dog yards.

Keep those paws crossed please. The odds are getting longer, but there is still hope for my timid boy.
If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you must find the courage to live it.

Yippee!! A sighting!! It had to have been Delta. Keep the faith. He will come home.

Delta - enough wandering around, we're all sick with worry about you sweetie, come on home, a warm bed and yummy food await. Not to mention a loving family and a brother that misses you terribly.

That gives us more hope, though, a sighting...and, it sure sounds like Delta. Let's keep hoping. I am still keeping thoughts all day and all night in my heart for you all.

It's so good to check here and see this hopeful news! All paws crossed, still praying that Delta will get his butt back home, or let himself be caught. Prayers for Stuart, too. Hope his appointment went well.

Heading home now and probably won't get to check in until the morning. Fingers crossed we'll see a "Delta's home" thread.

    Hope hubby's appointment went well
