I am very interested in whether you can trust a greyhound off leash. The greyhound rescue organizations in my area say you need to have a fenced yard or always have the dog on a leash because they will go after a small animal. My dog (not a greyhound) knows commands like the back of her paw, but when she sees a bunnie or squirrel, my "come" or "stop" or "down" is meaningless to her. Also the couple of times she has gotten out of the house accidently, she has taken off to explore the forbidden neighborhood without even a hesitation in response to my calling her. There is something else that has priority and that's it.
