Luka turned two today. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. She truly has a personality all her own. She is all about food. She dances for every treat and every meal, she burps after every meal, she begs for more after and in between every meal.

She just recently realized this was her forever home. She has loosened up quite a bit in the last month. There are a lot of new qualities she has revealed that I never knew she had before. Like she barks when she wants you to throw the balls (and oh my gosh she's a huge ball freak!!) and she growls at people walking down the street - which makes her an official part of this family. We used to think she was so quiet, but with her getting comfortable came a voice! She's not loud by any means, especially compared to the other two (who bark at e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g!!!), but we just never thought we'd hear her bark! She has always grunted like Nova, but does it at different times and for different things. Usually when she changes positions in her sleep she lets out a little grunt.

For the most part she is a precious angel, and hardly does anything wrong except letting out some very stinky farts every now and then!

November 7 - only 4 days home and she'd already won Mandy's heart (not an easy thing for dogs to do)
