I have been riding for almost 5 years now. I've had a few special horses, most notably Player I formed a deep bond with him. 4 years old and off the track he was a handful. I'm A Player had a royal pedigree, but no intrest in racing. He was rescued by my instructor and trainer. I shareboarded him in May of 2004, but took care of him and rode him for a lot longer. When the barn relocated and his three caretaker/riders all disregared his set routinefor a while, he freaked out and it all went downhill from there. Poor Player was sold by his owner.
1999 Seal Bay Gelding
Shrek
Aquired by the barn owners (Same as Player's owner) with the relocation, this Light Bay (Technical term Golden Bay) Thoroughbred gelding had been off the track for about 3 years. He is about 7 or 8 years old. I will eventually do the tattoo search to get his pedigree and race name but that cost $30. The barn is now 45 minutes away but I will go there again when I can drive (summer) and shareboard and hopefully show a bit.

And in the background of that picture- see the dark cob gelding? He's called Dennis and he's an absolute gem, never puts a foot wrong, unless he trips over them!
