Okay here is the other half of the story in case anyone is interested...

I went to Petco today to get some food for the girls. I had no idea adoption days were on Saturday and Sunday at Petco ... I usually try to avoid these things for this very reason lol. There was a black Lab mix puppy there, a female. She certainly looked pure but her brother looked almost exactly like Kodie (sammy101's dog) so it was doubtful she was, even if they had different dads what is the odd a purebred female found a purebred male? Her personality was like an exact replica of Nova's (and Nova is my "heart dog" so needless to say I fell head over heals for her). I called my mom and she asked me to leave and we would come back in a few minutes after they went to Staples. Well, it was only 40 minutes until we got back and literally as we were walking in the door papers were being filled out for her adoption. The people I had talked to before were really heartbroken for me, so they offered these pups to us even though no one is supposed to know about them yet. I told them it was probably for the best anyway, since another female would be a nightmare here.

I really hope that little girl has a good home ... I seriously thought she was going to be mine
