Does anyone know about how much it would cost to drive from North Florida (Tallahassee) to Findlay and stay up there? Just an estimate ... I have lots of money saved up but I don't want to spend a bunch of it. And if I can't come there's always next year.

We love to carpool. Before Leslie moved, we'd all ride down together. Since she moved, we've been the only Michiganders to head down.

usually Labor day and Memorial day are the big ones and the one that we might have in the middle around July is a smaller group.

Labor Day? Hmm ... that might be better. I'll talk to my parents about all three dates though, and between them I should be able to come to one of them!

if I had a bigger place I'd offer ya a room but my house is only one bedroom and full up with one dog and 2 cats -
but we can definately find you some reasonable rated hotels in the Findlay area.

My mom said yes up until she saw the map. I had told her that it took Kay 16 hours to get there and she was fine with that, but for some reason looking at the map made her say no She said the Labor Day meeting is a definite possibility, but not this one. Ah well, I'll meet y'all some day!

Oh well! We only drive out for one each year, because it is such a long drive for us as well, but maybe we'll meet you some other year, Sarah!

I *think* we spend atleast $300+ on gas - however we have a big truck.
