I know how you feel - but I bet if you give Molli time and a chance, she'll get over her fear of big dogs.. especially if this giant is a friendly, sweet guy and not too rambunctious for her!![]()

If he does get the dog, bring Molly somewhere neutral to meet the giant, don;t just have it invade her home, her safe place. If done carefully, she can grow to understand that not all big dogs are evil.
Slowly socialize her so that she's comfortable around big dogs. It will be good for her to be more socialized.
