I start on February 21st. I'll be working at the Customer Service Counter and cashiering (which I love doing). Employees get 20% discount on their entire purchase. Around Thanksgiving they allow employees, friends and family members a 30% discount off their total purchase. It's really a fun place to work.

The newspaper job (freelance writing a Pet of the Week column) is still in the works. I keep playing telephone tag with the features editor. Gotta call him back tomorrow early in the morning before deadline.

The secretarial job at the newspaper I'm still not sure about. I got an email from them saying they've forwarded my resume to the person in charge of hiring. I'm HOPING that since my Dad worked there for over 20 years and had an impeccable attendence record will give me an edge over other applicants. He was very well liked there.

I had a temp job at Yale. The project ended and so did the assignment. I'm collecting a mere pittance from Michigan Unemployment (haven't gotten it yet) until I can find something permanent. I know it'll happen. Thank GOD I've got such an understanding roommate.
