I've been boo'dMerlin my angel
Kaige is made of oak with a walnut base. Misty and Happy are made of walnut with a hickory base. I try not to use stain and try to pick an appropriate wood to get close to color. I am using a Honduras Mahogany for a red Husky with a hickory base. If I get a side standing profile I can play on the computer for a while and come up with a pattern. Both Misty and Happy were done from a photo.
Aw, Wow! Those look great! I wish i had some extra cash to get one of Camen right away, but it may take awhile as I have just paid for a semester. Maybe in a month I'll pm you guys to get full details

I think oak would fit perfectly for a (my) golden.hmm, I don't have any picture of crayola looking up but um, only have one sideview of him as he's always by my side.
do you have any sample anyway, wasn't it what you used for kaige too?
