all I know is that farm animals have MORE rights then pets.

In my area, ou need 1 acre for ANY animal, even fish! This rule is one that I've gone beyond breaking.

so sad.. I am not sure how much room you have to have to have a farm animal here.

It cant be one acre per animal out here, because there are 2 horses or 3 per pen??? but we dont have any cows or such out here on this part of the desert..

To my knowledge, around here as long as you're zoned agricultural you have no restrictions. Our county is big on cattle ranching (though most are selling their farms to builders ) and I rarely see shelter for the cattle. Other farm animals generally do seem to have shelter though.
