Yes we do, it just happened recently though. I think its one acre per farm animal + 1. So even if you were to have two chickens (or two horses, goats, ducks...) you would need 3 acres of land. I find it ridiculous that you need that much room though, they should've made exceptions for things like chickens...but I guess its better than having animals in situations like you just mentioned, its so sad

Poor animals! That is really unfair. I'm not sure about the law here, but i'm sure that there would be so much protest that the RSPCA would be forced to act. I feel so sorry for all farm animals in that situation, why is it like that for them? They are alive just like us and our pets, so why is it OK to deprive them of movement? Agh, i get really mad on these subjects.

all I know is that farm animals have MORE rights then pets.

In my area, ou need 1 acre for ANY animal, even fish! This rule is one that I've gone beyond breaking.
