SO glad to hear he's okay! I sure hope you gave that dog's owner an ear full!!
I think as long as you don't let yourself get nervous next time he's around dogs everything will be fine. He'll feed off of you and if you're nervous, then he'll think "Oh.. is there something I should be afraid of??" But if you just keep your cool, and stay calm he'll be fine.
