Honestly Jess, I would just wait, save up the money, and get the Canon. As Sarah said, Fuji isn't bad, but they don't have amazing reviews either whereas Canon users only have amazing things to say about their cameras.

Well, personally, I'd rather go with Fuji.. but this looks like a bad camera, somewhat. But Fuji makes great digital higher end compact digi's and SLR's.

I think I'm going to go to the store tomorrow with my parents and look at the Canon PowerShot A520 and the Fuji.. I'm just worried about the high noise levels in the A520.

& I'll ask this again.. Do stores let you return cameras if you are not satisifed?

Most stores WILL let you return electronic purchases. I think its only like.. a 15 day return policy instead of 30 days for electronics such as cameras and such, but that's still two weeks, you know??

Also, if you get high noise in the camera, then you just need to lower the ISO speed
