    I'm so sorry Kay. ;[ He was such a pretty multi-colored betta boy. Definitely keep a close eye on your others, to make sure it wasn't disease-related... hopefully he died peacefully.

    I just realized, he was atleast 3 or so years old... isn't that a good age for a Betta?

    Yes, that is a good age. He lived a very long and happy life thanks to you. My dad said some are lucky to live to one. Mine are really old.

    bettas don't live long i alrady gone throgh at least four this year

    3 is a very full life! 4 is the maximum age, as far as I've seen.

    Jenny ~ :/ you might want to check your water ph/ammonia, the temps youre keeping your Bettas in, and the food you're feeding them. A Betta kept in 70-80* clean disease-free water and fed a good diet should live atleast 2 years, assuming they were healthy when you got them.
