The Canon is probably much more expensive.
I'm suprised you've heard bad things about Fuji.. I own one and have no complaints except that there aren't enough manual controls - but mine is an entry level camera.

Well, not really bad, just not wonderful. Everyone just says "ehh ... it's alright" whereas Canons usually get a better response ... from people I know anywayOriginally Posted by BC_MoM
