I also hate lies but I also believe when someone or something is going to be hurt and it can be prevented, we need to do what needs to be done. You are not lying to get out of a consequence of one of your actions, you are doing it to help a poor innocent dog from being abused further. In my opinion, I think there is a big difference! I think it is a great plan of action!!!
