Love the way discussions about animals always turns into a anti-
pita chant.

I love Pita, especially when it's full of falafels, maybe a little plain yogurt and cucumber...

Anyways, there are a lot of reasons for pet lovers to dislike PETA...and it's hardly something that "Always" comes up....every month or two certainly, but not that often.

arent you still supporting these places when you buy your pets food with meat in it?I'm not trying to start anything,but most likely you are.
I'm not going to watch the video.I dont really like PETA but its heartbreaking that some of these animals have to live like this.I dont believe every single place is like this.

Actually, when I buy rodents for my snake, I am careful to go through a source that humanely pre-kills them. I'm lucky to have several of those available to me locally. When I am able to adopt a dog, s/he will eat the same meat that I do (only raw).

Once, when I worked in a pet store, some lady told me that I was "sick" for awning a snake. She said "I would NEVER own an animal that I had to feed other animals to!" Ya know what...her dog was standing right beside her! If I hadn't been working, I would have told her exactly what I think about the mentality that if it's ground up and doesn't *look* like an naimal anymore it's not an animal.

There's a greek restaurant about 1/2 hour away that makes the most AWESOME homemade pita. *drool*

It depends. There are some brands that only use free-range, organic meat. You can also feed raw or home-cook your dogs food, which is what I do for the most part. And I know where the meat comes from.

Every place isn't like that, but most of the ones that sell in the grocery store are. If a company treated their animals humanely, they would most definetly advertise it!

Hmm I have a organic farm that I pass with Trigger when we ride(the one with the ponies that have bad hooves) But I think I will ask them for some tips and ask them how there meat is done. After seeing that video though I don't think I could touch another peice of meat when I know it was killed so horibly it's scared me for life.
