Have you owned dogs since you were a child?

When I was a month old, we adopted a beautiful 1 year old Samoyed from the Saskatoon SPCA. We had her (Chinook) until I was 5, then we moved and while we were moving out to the country, my aunt took care of her at her ranch, but ended up keeping her because Chinook loved the space.

When we moved to Manitoba when I was 10, we got a giveaway in the paper Gordon Setter x Golden Retriever named Wolfgang. When I was 15, he had to be put to sleep.

In October (same year Wolfgang went to RB) we adopted Mickey from Funds For Furry Friends in Brandon, Manitoba.

In December 2005, we adopted Molly from Winnipeg Animal Services.

So in all of my 16 (almost 17) years old life, I've only not had a dog for just short of 5 years.

Yup, ever since i was little we had dogs.

I remember feeding our daschund bananas through the screen door. i was only about 3 at the time so i guess we had him since before i was born. Then we got Gizmo, then evee, huey, molly, prince, and now astra. We had to give Gizmo away because we moved. Evee and Huey were bought at a very young age and died because of parvo. Max died when he was 10 or so because he had heartworms.
