Well, be sure to let us know when you start! Does this mean that you're not going to work at the golf course anymore?
yay!
Jen, when I get called back to the golf course, I'll see if I can handle both jobs for a while. If it gets to be too much, i'll go back to Longue Vue as my full time job. See what happens.Originally Posted by JenBKR

WHERE YOU ARE IS WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE!!!

Connie, I have been thinking about that. At 57 I might be getting a might too old to do outside physical labor with my artifical knee and every year it gets tougher. I'll see if I like this better and go on from there. Maybe 44 years at the same golf course is a little TOO long!
You need to check out the Goodwill job for a while ...Originally Posted by david p

Once you have a feel for the Goodwill job;
then it's time to "talk" to the Golf Course ...
Ask to meet with your supervisor and have a frank discussion about your history
with the Golf Course (44 years of dedicated service) and your future with them.
You need to know how they plan to treat you as you "age" and possibly begin to have trouble doing the physical parts of your job. Do they have a lighter-duty or less strenuous job lined up for you?
Hopefully your Boss will be honest with you.
