Thread: How do you boil eggs?

    Don't feel bad, I had to look up how in a cookbook! It said to cover with cold water (fill at least 1" over eggs) and bring to boil, cover, turn off heat, cover, and let sit for 20-22 minutes. Then immediately put them under running cold water to cool them, crack shells underwater, then roll eggs between hands to loosen shells. Peel when cool.
    This is how I do it now and they are perfect!
