The thing that hurts most about the story, is thinking there may have been more than three puppies thrown out, but not found since they were scattered separately along the road. It was the ultimate cruelty to dump them individually, not even allowing them the comfort of being able to find each other and huddle together for warmth! I'm so glad someone found the three pups, but I can't stop picturing another one or more still out there alone, cold and starving.![]()

But on the topic of throwing dogs out of cars.....A few years ago my mom actually witnessed a guy throw a doxie out of his pick up window in a parking lot
She went right to the dog and didn't think of getting a plate number...but we took her in (and named her Dancer after the parking lot she was dumped in), she was older, the vet guesstimated that she was 11+
And shes still doing great today
