Because she's a delicate girl, such a teeny one compared to the breeds like Dobes, it coupld be that she's part Miniture Pinscher instead of Doberman. They have the same coloring, the Mini Pin is the older of the two breeds. I don't see even a smidge of Rottie in her, she's far too fine-boned, no blocky shape to her head or body ... I think they guessed that because of her coloring as a pup. And she's very small for a Dobe mix, even. When she's by herself, she looks the right shape, but she's a peanut!

Maybe Beagle/Mini Pin, maybe - hey - does she have webbed feet? That's often Labbiness showing ...

Maybe dobie, coonhound and lab? I have always thought she has some dobie in her. She is an adorable mix thats for sure!

I don't see Rottweiler, the shelter could easily have mistaken that because as a tiny girl her coloring was that of a Rott but she looks more lightbodied and I think probably Doberman, she has a fairly Dobie head but could be the black and tan coonhound too. I would problably go with one of those over Rotty. She's sure a cute little girl though. MIght be a dobie mixed with a smaller type of dog to cause her to be tiny.

I also added in the main post that she has a really dark brown/chocolate coloring to the top of her tail.

I definitely see some Rottie in her head.. or it could just me. I'm no expert. But I also see lots of Dobbie in her too.

I've always thought of her as a Doberman/Catahoula mix or maybe Dobe/Lab. In my opinion, I think she's much to 'delicate' looking to be a Rottie mix and judging by her pics, she doesn't have enough undercoat (does she have an under coat at all?). Whatever she is, she's one of the most beautiful mixes I've ever seen!

Dobermans really aren't that big, most females I know are between 50-60lbs. Keeva is 45 pounds right now but she's not done filling out yet, but I think she'll be about 50ish pounds when fully gorwn. Also, the white could definitely be from the Dobie side if that's what is in her. A lot of Dobes (especially backyard bred ones) are showing up with tons of white.
