I think Sookie talks so much because she is still exclaiming over her good luck. Five miserable pounds and broken teeth? Luckily an angel found Sookie. She wasn't long for this world, but now with her health back she's got everything ahead of her! Wonderful to see her now, all comfy cozy in her favorite chair. What a comeback!

Tears are falling here too, Baby Sooki. Oh, thank the Lord and your wonderful humans for coming to your rescue, beautiful boy. No creature deserves the horrific, unspeakable abuse and neglect you suffered I'm so, so, SO very happy to hear of your uplifting tale of rescue, of the warm, wonderful, love filled life you are leading, the devoted, caring forever family you have been blessed with! And to think you even have your very own fur buddy to keep you on your paws...doesn't get better than that, does it sweetheart Yours is a story that is not only inspirational, it helps to restore my faith in the goodness of human kind! I hope you and dear little Alice and your WONDERFUL family are enjoying a very happy and love filled Cat of the Day celebration, Baby Sooki!!! Beautiful, sweet Baby Sooki! Yours is a wonderful story of redemption and love. One thing that surprised me was that you were able to reach out to your mom in the shelter. As much as you had been mistreated, there was still the desire for love and human companionship in your heart. You are the perfect COTD, Sooki.
