Jenn...You can look at it this way. If you adopt from a no kill shelter that opens up a space for another pooch that might otherwise have gone to a kill shelter. I also wouldn't abandon the thought of going to a kill shelter because if you do, you might be missing the love of your life...and again, you open up a space for another animal that might otherwise have been put down.
