M&I Mommy, yes, I made those. They are boxes that our 5# of catfish come in on the boat, they are cardboard boxes, good and solid. Cut the holes in them, the long one on top and round ones on the side. I use spray glue to get the fabric to stick to it. Mine have that one that I have posted that Amy has about shredded and as I said, all I have to do is shake it and they come running. The holes on the side are just big enough that they can get a paw into it to grab for toys.. It is a cheap thing to make and hours of fun! After they pull all they toys out, I shove them back in and they start all over again.

My sisters cats love theirs too and for some reason, her cats sit on the box and use it for scratching too..

I also made that red and yellow thing too.. Scraps of fleece stacked on each other, strips sewn together in the middle,then cut like fringe and sewn together on the end to form a ball. Marinate in catnip and another toy made out of something you would end up throwing away..

(Kim, I just keep coming back to look... that first picture, they were sort of checking it out, further down and on into the "party" they were laid over, high on nip... TO FUNNY!)
