    Layers and feathering, I assume

I love the one without the large image in the center!

They are both great. I loved the first one as it shows Bob sticking
out his llip. I love that shot of him. So cute.

Yes, layers, cut/paste, erase, smudge, some effects ... just fiddle about with stuff until I get the pictures the way I want. I never remember what I've done exactly.

I did an Ebby one too, though it is a little different to the one of Bob!

p.p.s. Jessica, I use Photofiltre Studio not Photoshop but if you do, or anyone who does, do you think 'feathering' may mean the same as my 'smudging'?

Oh, I love the Ebby wallpaper too. You captured a different Ebby in
    each image.

Oh I don't use Photoshop either but "feathering" is a pretty universal term I thought anyway hehe ummm Smudging to me doesn't sound like it would be the same as feathering. But feathering is just like.. fading the edges so they blend nicer. Smudging to me is just like.. "smearing" the edges so they blend nicer. If that makes any sense haha

Thanks, Jessika, that does make sense in fact you are spot on. How do I know? Well, I am such a dingbat, I do have Photoshop, but would you believe I forgot that I did!!
A few years ago I installed Photoshop 6 on my old computer, a few days later my system crashed. After I got it up and running again I didn't re-install for a couple of reasons. Firstly,I had only had a little go of it and frankly couldn't understand half of what to do. And secondly, because not long after I had installed it in the first time the computer crashed, I sort of worried the progam was to blame.
Anyhow, I was separating out all the computer installation and program discs, for old pute and new, when I found the Photoshop. Installed and it works fine.
I'm still not sure of all the features but there are some I definately will use,the feathering for one, in fact already have! I think I will still mostly use Photofiltre though, it's easier.
