We use to groom my friends old dog in the tub. We put the plug in so the hair couldn't clog the drain. Then we shaved her, picked up the hair & then bathed her. She looked fine, but was hard to handle, as she wasn't use to us doing the grooming & she hated the tub. She was old & was use to the groomers, but when the $$ runs out & the dog NEEDS to be shaved, its gotta be done the hard way. She was always spoiled afterwards & would chase the rottie about in anger from her bath hehehe
